DARK TRANQUILLITY, DISMEMBER Confirmed For Italy's AGGLUTINATION Festival

DARK TRANQUILLITY and DISMEMBER have been confirmed for the Agglutination metal festival, set to take place August 9 in Sant'Arcangelo in the south of Italy.

DARK TRANQUILLTY was honored in the "Metal" category at Sweden's annual Manifestgalan awards, which recognizes fantastic music and musicians from independent record labels. DARK TRANQUILLTY received the award for its latest album, "Fiction", which was released in April 2007 via Century Media Records. The CD was mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) and "encompasses all of the elements on which the band built their career: thought-provoking lyrics, shredding guitar work, captivating melodies and sheer brutality," according to a press release.
